Today was another lazy day. It was a crazy week, and I really didn't feel well for most of it, mostly because I didn't have my medicine so my blood pressure was sky high. Early in the week, it was as high as 190/114. Eventually, I was able to get meds from doctor, so over the past few days I've been trying to relax as much as possible. The good thing about this time is that I've realized how critical it is for me to stay on task with eating and exercise. Not only did I not feel well, I was really scared that I might have a heart attack or stroke. There is a clear and distinct feeling between normal blood pressures and high ones, and the high ones don't feel good at all. I didn't feel like doing anything, and only did things that I had to do. I could feel some of the symptoms, and I just prayed for God to protect me. Hopefully, in a few days my pressure will be closer to normal, but this has really been another wake up call for me to make sure I eat right and continue to exercise. Being sick is no fun, plus, I miss out on a lot of life when I'm sick. I really do love living, so I must stay on task with my health.
New Mercies I See!
