In God I Trust
The
fundamental key to my success has been my increasing relationship with God. I nurture my relationship daily through studying Scripture, prayer and meditation.
Without fail, I am much more successful when I am consistently talking to God, listening to God and being obedient to His will. I tell God everything, even
when I'm mad-even when I'm mad at Him! I also praise Him for even the smallest successes. If I eat right all day, I praise Him. If I don't eat a decadent dessert, I thank Him or giving me strength to resist. On days that I don't feel like going to work out, and He gets me up and out of the door, Give Him glory! Practicing spiritual disciplines feeds and enhances the discipline that I need to exercise d eat right--I don't have it on my own, so I depend on God give it to me. When I don't, just like in anything else, I get off track, and getting off track means death, so it's a must!

Prayer: God, thank you for this day. Thank you for granting access to all that you are and all that you do. Please grant strength to choose your way and your will and to do those things that will strengthen my mind, body and soul. Please bless with your supernatural healing, peace, comfort and guidance. September 26, 2012 Scripture Passage: Proverbs 3 Verses 5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path. Prayer: God, thank you for being, thank you for all that you are and a... all that you do. Thank you for your faithfulness. Please help us trust you in all that we do and experience. When we cannot see our way clear, help us to trust in you, your will and your way. In the name of Jesus, Amen. September 27, 2012 Scripture Passage: Nehemiah 1 Verse 5-6: 5 Then I said: “Lord, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 6 let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father’s family, have committed against you. 7 We have acted very wickedly toward you. We have not obeyed the commands, decrees and laws you gave your servant Moses. 8 “Remember the instruction you gave your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations, 9 but if you return to me and obey my commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for my Name.’ Prayer: God, I come humbly before you to thank and praise you for all that you are and all that you do. Thank you for granting me another opportunity to dwell in your presence. I know that I have failed to worship, praise and obey you as I should, but I thank you for loving me anyway and giving me another chance to live your will in your way. Help me to remove anything that keeps me from you. Give me strength to make choices and behave in ways that are pleasing to you. Give me the desire to show love, grace and mercy to others as you show them to me. Infuse me with the will to work for justice and practice peace. God, I thank you for life, and all you have planned. September 28, 2012 Scripture Pasage: Nehemiah 2 Verses 18-20: 18 And I told them of the hand of my God which had been good upon me, and also of the king’s words that he had spoken to me.So they said, “Let us rise up and build.” Then they set their hands to this good work. 19 But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official, and Geshem the Arab heard of it, they laughed at us and despised us, and said, “What isthis thing that you are doing? Will you rebel against the king?” 20 So I answered them, and said to them, “The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build, but you have no heritage or right or memorial in Jerusalem.” Prayer: God, thank you for this day, and all you have planned. Thank you for making provision for me to do your work. Thank you for giving me protection, strength, guidance wisdom, and courage. I ask that you will increase these things in me so that your will is done. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen September 29, 2012 Scripture Passage: Psalm 9 Verses 1, 11: 1 I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. 11 Sing the praises of the Lord, enthroned in Zion; proclaim among the nations what he has done. Prayer: God, I don't want to ask you for anything, I just want to thank you for everything! Thank you for loving, healing, guiding, protecting and chastising me. I love you with all my everything--THANK YOU!!!! In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen. September 30, 2012 Scripture Passage: Nehemiah 2 Verses 17-20: 17 Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace. 18 I also told them about the gracious hand of my God on me and what the king had said to me. They replied, “Let us start rebuilding.” So they began this good work. 19 But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official and Geshem the Arab heard about it, they mocked and ridiculed us. “What is this you are doing?” they asked. “Are you rebelling against the king?” 20 I answered them by saying, “The God of heaven will give us success. We his servants will start rebuilding, but as for you, you have no share in Jerusalem or any claim or historic right to it.” Prayer: God, thank you for this day. Thank you for all you have provided. Thank you for strength and courage to rebuild. Please continue to keep me focused on the work you have given, and protected from those things an people who would attempt to distract me. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen. October 1, 2012 God, thank you for this day. Please let my words be merciful, my thoughts peaceful and my behavior just. In the name of Jesus, Amen. October 2, 2012 "Our father who are in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdome come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
